It's a Dutch Dutch Dutch World Vol 12

Just like…um…working in a windmill…this, is a Dutch Dutch Dutch Dutch World.

Toilet paper. We all use it (although I've only just learnt that girls even..ya know…poop). How frustrating is it when you try to start a new roll?!

You pick at it, then only a small portion actually comes away and it tears on the diagonal to optimise inefficiency…THEN when you think it's all good to go realise you've somehow managed to start 3 layers going and the paper itself is 2 ply! SO by the time you sort that out you've acquired a whole heap of toilet paper that for some reason, because it's been torn or abused, you deem unworthy of use.

What a waste.

I recommend furry leaves.

Noah's Changing Face

I've been up hazily drifting to sleep over the pilot of a new series written by Ray Romano (an unlikely partner to my insomnia). It's a drama though, and, unbelievably, it's really really good. Slow paced, thoughtful etc. It's called Men Of A Certain Age.

I think it's mainly dealing with the idea of reaching a point in your life and realising you've accomplished nothing. A subject potentially detrimental for anyone watching who feels the dull crack of home being hit. So I'm guessing it must venture into the 'it's never too late' proverb. Or else this is crippling.

Does anyone remember that video that was circulating the net a few years back? This guy Noah, took a picture of his face every day for 6 years. To date it is literally the most affecting thing I have ever seen. It surpasses the 10 minute montage at the beginning of UP, the realisation in The Life of David Gale, everything. I almost cry every time I see it.
